Meet the team
The people who’ll be in the room with you.
Operators first. Coaches second.
Get Knowledge is led by its co-founders, Lee Houghton and Jason Elliott, and backed by experienced associates and collaboration partners, so the right people work with your team.
Every route starts at one of our two doors.
The co-founders
Two operators who became coaches.
Lee and Jason both came from operations, which is why the Get Knowledge approach is built for how organisations really work, and why it is the approach, not any one person, that you are buying.
Lee Houghton
Co-founder and Director
Leadership coach and host of The People Puzzle Podcast. With more than 20 years’ experience, Lee has partnered with leaders at every level in some of the UK’s largest organisations to unlock potential, embed change that lasts and build high-performing teams.
National Coach of the Year 2025 More about Lee
Lee’s focus is leadership, strategy and change, helping senior leaders turn good teams into great ones. He works with organisations to align leadership teams, break down silos, and move energy from firefighting operational issues to delivering sustainable strategic success.
Through Get Knowledge’s SPEx (Sustainable Performance Excellence) framework, Lee connects the why (purpose), the what (tools) and the how (behaviours) of an organisation, engaging the heads, hearts and hands of its people so change sticks and performance thrives.
Jason Elliott
Co-founder and Director
For more than 25 years, Jason has worked with leaders, teams and organisations on why some things improve and others don’t, and why sensible changes sometimes fail to stick.
More about Jason
His work spans executive coaching, leadership and team development, organisational improvement and systems thinking. Increasingly, he sees these not as separate disciplines but as different ways of seeing the same organisation.
Jason works particularly with senior leaders and leadership teams at moments of transition, growth and change, helping them see what may be happening beneath the obvious problem and understand where the work really sits. His style is calm, curious and challenging, combining practical organisational experience with a strong developmental and systemic perspective.

She loves facilitating fun, purposeful team events that build cohesion and a common purpose.
Anna is a proud step-mum to Max and Elliot, and a keen netball player, in a social league she insists is not competitive at all.

Gary Nightingale
Collaboration partner, Director of Gary Nightingale Creative
Turns complex change into a single visual “Big Picture” that shows where a team is, where it is going and how it gets there.
Read Gary’s story
Change projects gather a huge amount of information from leadership teams, the workforce and stakeholders, and it can be hard to grasp as a whole. Gary turns it into one visual narrative, using metaphor to represent each contributing voice, which then becomes a working document as the team makes progress towards its goal.
He also creates visuals for blogs, social media and online training, anywhere a message needs to land.
What we all share
Our value is the approach, not the CVs.
Whoever is in the room with you, they work to the same principles. Turn each one over.
Where to start
Two ways in. One outcome.
Every conversation starts at one of our two doors, and we bring in the right people from there.
Start with a conversation.
Tell us what you are trying to change, and we will bring the right people to it.
